Beste Punchers!
Het allerleukste weekend van het jaar is er al bijna: PIQ (Punch Integratie Quotiënt, ja we hebben geleerd waar het voor staat)!!! Na anderhalf jaar corona is er natuurlijk nog meer behoefte aan drie dagen gezelligheid en geknuffel, en omdat we toch wat vraagjes krijgen, is hier een bericht met alle informatie.
PIQ vindt plaats van 8-10 oktober in Kampeerboerderij de Kiek. Het precieze adres is Looneind 6, 5131RK Alphen. Het is bereikbaar met het OV, maar er is ook parkeerruimte indien men besluit met de auto te komen. De Kiek is een leuke locatie met een groot grasveld en bos, in een klein dorpje in Brabant. Dat betekent echter niet dat er niemand woont, dus we vragen jullie aub stil te zijn als je ‘s avonds buiten loopt. Dat gaat over de wandeling van het busstation tot de locatie, maar ook als je ‘s nachts bij de locatie buiten wandelt. We willen niet dat onze host boos wordt door geluidsoverlast. De locatie is, zoals je misschien al hebt gelezen, een boerderij en er zijn ook daadwerkelijk koeien. GA NIET NAAR DE DIEREN! Conclusie van het verhaal: verstoor het dagelijkse leven daar niet.
Nu hebben we nog een belangrijke mededeling m.b.t. op corona. Het is al fantastisch dat PIQ kan plaatsvinden, maar hiervoor moeten we wel wat regels opstellen. Bij aankomst moet je een geldige QR-code (in de Coronacheck app) laten zien, maar na 24h opnieuw. We gaan dus opnieuw alle QR-codes scannen bij ingang van het feest op zaterdag. Dat houdt in dat je, als je geen vaccinatie- of herstelbewijs hebt, zult moeten testen op zaterdag. Dit is je eigen verantwoordelijkheid, en de AkCie zal niet mensen op een neer rijden voor testen. Wees hier serieus over, we moeten streng zijn en mensen wegsturen als het niet goed gaat.
Het is dus een Testen voor Toegang evenement en daardoor hoeft er geen afstand gehouden te worden en kunnen we binnen normaal feesten. Toch zijn er wat regels. Het feest op vrijdag is tot 23:30 een normale staborrel, maar we zullen om 23:30 beginnen met de cantus (!) met vaste zitplaatsen. Door de zitplaatsen kunnen we tot laat doorgaan. Op zaterdag zullen we vroeg beginnen met feesten (en zonder zitplaatsen), maar het zal dan ook klaar zijn om 00:00. Het kan niet anders met corona, dus we vragen om jullie begrip en medewerking.

Het is mogelijk om alleen een deel van het weekend bij te wonen. Wij hebben er ontzettend veel zin in en hopen jullie allemaal in Alphen te zien!

Dear Punchers!
The most fun weekend of the year is almost here: PIQ (Punch Integration Quotient, yes we learned what it stands for)!!! After a year and a half of corona, there is even more need for three days of fun and hugs, and since we get a lot of questions, here is a post with all the information.
PIQ will take place from October 8-10 in Camping Farm de Kiek. The exact address is Looneind 6, 5131RK Alphen. It is accessible by public transport, but there is also parking space if you decide to come by car. De Kiek is a nice location with a large lawn and forest, in a small village in Brabant. However, that doesn't mean that nobody lives there, so we ask you to please be quiet when walking outside at night. This includes the walk from the bus station to the venue, but also if you walk outside at night at the location itself. We don't want our host to be upset by noise pollution. The location, as you may have read, is a farm and there are actually cows. DON'T GO TO THE ANIMALS! Conclusion of the story: do not disturb the daily life there.
Now we still have an important announcement regarding corona. It is amazing that PIQ can take place, but for this, we need to set up some rules. Upon arrival, you have to show a valid QR code (in the Coronacheck app), and after 24h again. So we are going to scan all QR codes again at the entrance of the party on Friday and Saturday. This means that if you do not have a vaccination or recovery certificate, you will have to test on Saturday. This is your own responsibility, and the AkCie will not be driving people up and down for testing. Be serious about this, we have to be strict and send people away if it doesn't go well.
So it is a Testing for Access event, meaning that there is no need to keep distance and that we can party inside normally. Still, there are some rules. The party on Friday is a normal party until 23:30, but we will start the cantus (!) at 23:30 with fixed seating. The seating allows us to go on until late. On Saturday we will start partying early (and without seating), but it will be finished by 00:00. There is no other way with corona, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
