Lid worden bij Punch kan aan het begin van het volleybalseizoen tijdens en gelijk na de OWee, dit kan tot de tweede woensdag na de OWee. Omdat Punch een ledenstop kent is het vaak niet mogelijk om je gedurende het seizoen in te schrijven (zie kopje "gedurende het seizoen"). Je kan je interesse opgeven voor Punch door het interesseformulier in te vullen.
OntvangstWeek (OWee)
Ieder jaar, in augustus, doet Punch mee aan de OntvangstWeek in Delft. Tijdens deze week kan je 's avonds langskomen op ‘t Pand om Punch te leren kennen. Je hoeft niet aan de OWee deel te nemen om lid te worden bij Punch, de OWee website van Punch is voor master- en bachelorstudenten te gebruiken om alle informatie over Punch te vinden. En deze zal online zijn vanaf 1 augustus. Voor vragen kun je contact opnemen met het Bestuur.
Instuiftrainingen
Vanaf 28-08-2023 starten de instuiftrainingen. In deze drie weken wordt de indeling van de teams gemaakt door de Technische Kommissie. Tijdens deze trainingen is iedereen welkom om te proberen hoe het is om te volleyballen bij Punch. Je kan je in deze periode inschrijven bij Punch tot de tweede woensdag na de OWee bij het (Kandidaats)Bestuur.
Ledenstop
Bij Punch geldt een ledenstop. Dit betekent dat er voor sommige plekken geloot moet worden. De Technische Kommissie deelt de teams in op volleybalniveau, waarbij nieuwe volleyballers met ervaring ingedeeld worden. Er wordt gezorgd dat er altijd plek is voor beginnende volleyballers, voor deze plekken wordt indien er meer geïnteresseerden zijn dan plekken geloot. Hier zijn elk jaar beschikbare plekken. Bij de loting geldt dat je meer lootjes ontvangt als je meer instuiftrainingen aanwezig bent geweest. Op de dag van de teambekendmaking, 14 september 2023, vindt de loting plaats.
Vereisten om lid te worden
Om lid te worden bij Punch moet je:
- minimaal twee instuiftrainingen bijwonen in augustus/september,
- je inschrijven bij het (Kandidaats)Bestuur uiterlijk op de tweede woensdag (6 september 2023) na de OWee,
- een student zijn aan de TU Delft, Haagse Hogeschool in Delft of InHolland in Delft (bachelor- of masterstudent).
Mocht je niet aan deze eisen voldoen is het helaas waarschijnlijk niet mogelijk lid te worden van Punch. Indien je over het volleybalniveau beschikt dat een toegevoegde waarde is voor de vereniging, kan er een uitzondering voor je worden gemaakt. Wat houdt lid worden bij Punch in?
Bij Punch wordt je ingedeeld in een team passend bij jouw niveau. Samen met dit team train je elke maandag en vanaf de Tweede Klasse is er een tweede teamtraining op woensdag. Voor de Derde en Vierde Klasse is er de mogelijkheid om op woensdag deel te nemen aan de techniektrainingen. Met je team speel je op vrijdag of zaterdag een wedstrijd.
Gedurende het seizoen
Punch kent sinds een aantal jaren een ledenstop. Het is dan ook helaas niet mogelijk om je gedurende het seizoen in te schrijven, tenzij er toevallig plaats vrij is gekomen in een team. Vul daarom dit formulier in, dan nemen we contact met je op als er een plaats vrij komt!

You can join Punch at the beginning of the volleyball season (september) during and immediately after the OWee. Because Punch has a memberlimit, so it is often not possible to sign up during the season. You can already register your interest in Punch by filling out the interest form. If spots become available, you can be contacted.
IntroductionWeek (OWee)
Every year, in August, Punch takes part in the OntvangstWeek (introduction week) in Delft. During this week you can visit 't Pand in the evening and get to know Punch. You don't have to participate in the OWee to become a member of Punch. The OWee website of Punch can be used by master and bachelor students to find all information about Punch. And it will be online from August 1. For questions, please contact the Board.
Try-outs
At 28-08-2023 the try-out practices starts. In these three weeks the Technical Committee will make the team line-up. During these training sessions, everyone is welcome to try playing volleyball at Punch. You can sign up at Punch until the second Wednesday after the OWee with the (candidate) board.
Member limit
Punch has a member limit. This means that for some places a draw has to take place. The Technical Committee classifies the teams on volleyball level, where new volleyball players with experience are classified. Care will be taken to ensure that there is always room for beginning volleyball players, these spots will be drawn for if there are more interested than spots. There are available spots each year. When drawing lots, you will receive more tickets if you have attended more instuift trainings. On the day of the team announcement, September 14, 2023, the draw will take place.
Requirements to become a member
In order to become a member of Punch, you must...
- Attend a minimum of two instuiftraining in August/September,
- register with the (candidate) board before the second Wednesday (September 6, 2023) after the OWee,
- Be a student at TU Delft, Haagse Hogeschool in Delft or InHolland in Delft (Bachelor or Master student).
If you do not meet these requirements, it is unfortunately probably not possible to become a member of Punch. If you have the volleyball level that is an added value to the club, an exception can be made for you. If you think this is the case, please email tk@punch.tudelft.nl.
What does becoming a member of Punch involve?
At Punch, you will be assigned to a team that suits your level. Together with this team you will train every Monday and starting from the Second Division there is a second team training on Wednesday. For the Third and Fourth Division there is the possibility to participate in the technique training on Wednesdays. With your team you will play a game on Friday or Saturday.

During the season
Since a few years Punch has a member limit. Because of this limit it is not possible to join Punch during the season, unless there is a free place in a team. If you are interested in joining during the season please fill in this form, we will contact you if there is a free spot.
