Confidential advisors

At Punch, we strive to maintain a safe and accessible atmosphere within the association. To ensure this, Punch has several Confidential Contact Persons. If you encounter undesirable behavior from (or problems with) members, you can turn to one of these counselors for help and advice. They have a duty of confidentiality. You can also make a report via them anonymously (to the extent that this is possible). If you would like to talk to one of them, you can do so by contacting them using the information below. Please know that the confidential contact persons are happy to help you.

Unwanted behavior

As mentioned, a confidential counselor is there for Punchers who experience unwanted behavior from another person.

Unwanted behavior includes:

  1. Aggressive behavior / verbal aggression (on and off the field).
  2. Sexual harassment
  3. Bullying
  4. Gossiping
  5. Crimes

If you don't have a preference or have a question for all counselors, you can contact us at vertrouwenscontactpersonen@punch.tudelft.nl or vcp@punch.tudelft.nl.

These counselors are just members and do this voluntarily. Logically, they are not professionals and it is important to seek timely professional help should the need arise!

Sexual harassment

As soon as someone from the board of an association or Union suspects a situation where sexual harassment or sexual abuse has occurred, he or she is obliged to report it to the Union. When trainers or supervisors know something, they are obligated to report it to the Board.

"Regular" members have a responsibility to report to the board. This means that if sexual harassment or sexual abuse is suspected, a report must be made to the Board unless it cannot be expected of that person.

Confidential counselors do not have this reporting obligation to the Board because of their duty of confidentiality. However, they do report the incident anonymously to the Nevobo confidential counselor in cases of sexual harassment or abuse.

More information on this subject can be found on the Nevobo site
