Aan mooi weer ontbrak het op de eerste dag van de Mooi Weer Lustrumweek niet. De surfers begonnen met de lange fietstocht naar het strand van Scheveningen. Daar stond de crew van Surf’s Cool voor hen klaar. Na een korte uitleg op het strand waren de Punchers er klaar voor om de golven te lijf te gaan. En met succes! Met wat vallen en opstaan, pieken en dalen, hebben de deelnemers genoten van een heerlijke middag op de Scheveningse golven.
Op de maandag was het tijd voor de Hopborrel in het Delftse Hout. Punchers konden in tweetallen meedoen en genieten van de heerlijke speciaalbiertjes, wijn of alcoholvrije drankjes en natuurlijk de snacks die de LuCie voor hen had klaargezet. Door steeds verschillende locaties in het Delftse Hout te bezoeken konden de Punchers al hun hapjes en drankjes verzamelen en genieten van een heerlijke borrel.
In de lustrumweek vond ook de online schilderavond plaats. Alle deelnemers hadden een tasje gekregen met alle benodigdheden. In kleine groepjes werd de uitdaging aangegaan om een Bob Ross tutorial te volgen. Het schilderen van de ‘happy little waves’ ging de een beter af dan de ander, maar de resultaten mochten er zeker zijn! Er is zelfs een prijs voor het mooiste schilderij uitgereikt.
De week werd afgesloten met een fanatiek potje spikeballen. Voor een impressie, zie dit filmpje.

The weather on the first day of the Mooi Weer Lustrum was very pleasant. The surfers started their day with a long bike ride to Scheveningen beach, where the crew of Surf’s Cool awaited them. After a short instruction on the beach, it was time to face the waves. And that went very well! With some falling and standing up and some ups and downs, the Punchers enjoyed a wonderful afternoon on the waves of Scheveningen.
On Monday, it was time for the Hop Drinks in the Delftse Hout. In pairs, the Punchers enjoyed some tasteful craft beers, wine or non-alcoholic drinks, and ofcourse the snacks that the LuCie had picked out for them. By visiting all the different locations in Delftse hout, the Punchers could collect all their drinks and bites and enjoy a wonderful drink.
The online painting night also took place in the lustrumweek. All the participants received a bag with all the necessities. In small groups, the Punchers were challenged to follow a Bob Ross tutorial. Painting the ‘happy little waves’ was not easy for everyone, but the results were stunning! There was even a price for the best painting of the night.
